Acts 4:31-After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Then they preached the word of God with boldness.
There is power in prayer. Prayer is not something to joke around about nor is it something to neglect. Persistent and righteous prayers reveal much. Many times we spend time praying prayers in hopes that it will benefit us. Instead, we should pray that God’s Will would be done because He knows what is best for us. God has the greatest plan for our lives, so we should pray that He would do what He sees as best for our lives for His benefit. When you pray, pray that when your prayers are answered, it would bring glory to God. God answers prayers, just because it is not the answer you wanted doesn't mean He didn't answer the prayer. Don't ask for things out of selfish ambition but come before God and pray with a humble heart and ask Him to give you eyes to see and ears to hear. We are more effective in prayer when we make it all about God and not all about us. There is power in prayer. Change your prayer life and you will change your life.
