Acts 26:6-7- And now it is because of my hope in what God has promised our ancestors that I am on trial today. This is the promise our twelve tribes are hoping to see fulfilled as they earnestly serve God day and night. King Agrippa, it is because of this hope that these Jews are accusing me. As we have taken the last two months to cover the book of Acts, I can’t help but think about the importance and seriousness of the book. We see that clearly in this verse. Paul took his faith seriously. His hope in God’s promise was lived out everyday. He didn’t have reserved hope, he lived out hope. His faith was alive and because he was serious about it, he was accused and put on trail. Are you so serious about your walk with God that people notice? He isn't something you leave in your pocket and hope that other people see. How can we ever expect others to have hope if we hide the hope we have? We are called to be serious about our relationship with Christ; live it out and let your hope in Him be seen and remember His promises never fail.
