Gracious God

2 Corinthians 12:9- But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. (NIV)

What a gift grace is, something we don’t deserve, but Jesus says take it anyway. I want you to have it so I can have a relationship with you. We didn’t do anything worthy of receiving it, but Jesus went to the cross to pay for our guiltiness. That’s the greatest grace we could ever receive. The grace of God, it sets us free and gives us eternal life when we surrender to it. He doesn’t need your strength instead He wants your weakness so He can care for it and make it great by His power. God wants your messiness as it is. Don’t try and change who you are, but instead bring who you are before God and let Him change you. His power is made perfect in your faults. So step into the light today and let God clean you up. Have you been struggling with something and you need His grace not your own. Talk to Him and allow Him to rest in you. We will always find faults in ourselves when we evaluate ourselves by our standards or the world’s standards. Find your value in God, He won’t disappoint you, after all, He sent His son to die on the cross for our sins, and He is gracious. His grace perfects our weaknesses. Heavenly Father, thank you, you are a gracious God, and I’m thankful you love me even in my faults. Lord thank you for your strength and power. I pray today that you would perfect yourself in my weaknesses the way you see fit and God I ask that your will be done in my life because that’s what’s best for me, Amen.
