Proverbs 24:14-Know also that wisdom is like honey for you: If you find it, there is a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off. (NIV)
We can always ask our Heavenly Father for wisdom and receive it. James 1:5 says, "If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking." Wisdom is waiting for you, ask with expectation in your heart because God will surely give it to you. Ask Him with a pure and sincere heart because He cares for you. When you were little, you could ask your mom for a sandwich or drink, and you believed immediately that she would get it for you. That’s asking with expectation and not having any doubt. God expects us to believe in Him that way. If you genuinely follow Jesus and have committed your life to follow Him, you can ask for wisdom with expectation, and He will give it to you. We serve a faithful God, one who has all the answers. We may not always enjoy His answer because it’s not how we wanted Him to answer us, but He knows what it is best for us. Gaining wisdom may take walking through a valley to reach a mountain top and see clearly. The Lord wants to give you wisdom so seek Him, and you will find it. If you're not sure where to start, come to a Sunday morning service at 8:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m., or 11:00 a.m. and I know God will honor your obedience to Him and grant you wisdom. Maybe God is calling you deeper, and He wants you to attend our Youth Group Edge Meetings on Sunday night at 6:00 p.m. God wants to give you wisdom, go looking in the right places, ask, and He will give it to you.
