Jude 1:7- And don't forget Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring towns, which were filled with immorality and every kind of sexual perversion. Those cities were destroyed by fire and serve as a warning of the eternal fire of God's judgment. (NLT)
Many people want to believe that God doesn’t sentence people to “eternal fire” for rejecting Him. But this is clearly taught in the scriptures. Sinners who don’t seek forgiveness from God will face eternal separation from Him. Jude wants all to know the importance of not Ignoring, rejecting, or rebelling against God. In these last days, evil will rise, and Satan will try to steal, kill, and destroy as many people as he can because the Kingdom of heaven is near. The enemy will do everything he can to keep people from standing for Jesus Christ and declaring the Gospel. The enemy can try and do all he wants, but we WIN! Our victory is in Jesus Christ, and He has given us strength and authority over all the enemy will ever try to throw at us. Jesus is my victory, and we can all rest in heaven with Him someday. The devil will always try to get us to reject, ignore, and rebel against God, but God is our Rock, and we have Christ’s power to defeat the devil. We are fighting a battle that is already won. There will be a final judgment, and some people will go to hell. Don’t believe that lie that the enemy tries to sell, that God won’t send anyone to the eternal fire. God doesn’t want to send anyone to hell, but he gave us free will, and we must choose Him. Don’t be consumed by sin like Sodom and Gomorrah. Build a relationship with God and live to serve and please Christ, and your eternal resting place will be in heaven.
