Psalm 46:10- He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
Be still- Do you silently and quietly wait upon the Lord? I am God- He will make Himself glorious by great and beautiful works. Do you believe He is the one and only almighty God? Many days I write, and God speaks words onto a page through my heart, but other times I hear, “Be still and know that I am God.”
We almost always feel like we have to be saying something to have a relationship with Christ. I have found that we should do less talking and more listening. “Be still, and know that I am God.” In the silence, He is speaking. If our silence is more truthful than our words, then remain in silence and let Him speak. Listen for Him. “Be still and know that I am God.” We must spend time in silence with God. Your conversations will be more genuine than any words that you could have spoken. Be still and know that He is God.
