"Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out the workers into his harvest field.” Matthew 9:37
The sick and hurting will always be among us. Who in your life needs the healing touch of Jesus? Sunday after Sunday I stand in the corner of our church and pray for people that are seeking the healing touch of Christ. He is the only that can heal those that are in need. There are people hurting all around us. Have you taken the time to slow down and notice those around you that need a healing? We typically just go on with our lives and focus on our needs. We have to have hearts that are focused on serving not being served.
Maybe you have someone in mind right now that you know needs a healing. Having faith as small as a mustard seed can bring healing to that person you are thinking of. Often we pray for healing, but we don’t believe in Christ’s healing power. Don’t doubt His power but believe in it wholeheartedly and watch diagnoses change, cancer disappear, sickness fade from peoples bodies.
I have seen God move mountains and I believe I’ll see Him do it again. I’ve seen women, who doctors had told they had a ZERO percent chance of having a baby, become pregnant. I’ve seen depression leave people’s bodies and the joy of the Lord become their strength. God is not done healing. His healing power is still alive; put your faith in Him. Pray today for that person you know needs a healing and trust that God is on the move whether you can see it or not.
