That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe. -1 Timothy 4:10 (NIV)

I’m finding in my life that it’s easier to work and strive for what’s expected of me then what my faith dreams of. It’s painfully hard for me to continue to dream by faith when faith needs so much structure to support dreams. I guess I was under the impression that faith takes care of the structure, but more is required of dreaming by faith.

It doesn’t take any effort to dream, but it does take labor to make dreams come true. Don’t stop putting your hope in Jesus because your dreams don’t immediately come true. There are three gains for today.

1. Don’t stop believing.

2. Don’t stop dreaming.

3. Be prepared to labor for a dream.

Remain faithful by putting your hope in Jesus. Let your dreams inspired your faith and prepare the dream for its existence by being ready to work. We have all kinds of goals, but we have to check our dreams with God and reality. Have we asked ourselves questions? Is this what God wants me to do? Is it the right time? How am I prepared and educated to make the dreams that God has for my life come true? Dreaming takes no structure but making dreams come true does. I believe if God provided the vision, He will also help provide the plan. Don’t let people discourage you from having big dreams.

God, what dreams do you want me to pursue today?

Then we listen.......
