Paint It

The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way; Psalm 37:23 (ESV)

Do you know where you’re going in this world? I indeed don’t sometimes; I do know where I’m going for all eternity. That is what helps me live in the uncertainty of this world right now. My purpose is in Jesus Christ. Heaven has given me a paintbrush and this world is my canvas. I get to surrender to God daily, and His name is written on my heart. I can paint His beauty in the hallways of my school and post of His love on my phone.

I don’t have to wander near the darkness of temptation because the Lord has helped me paint a way of escape. I don’t paint the prettiest picture. My best view is when I give God the brush and let Him paint His direction for my life.

We want people to see the beauty that our lives are, but we want to do it instead of letting God. I want to know where I’m going and when I let God run my life I know I’m moving in the direction of Heaven every day. Don’t feel like you are headed in the right direction when you can know you are headed in the right direction.

Lord, I surrender today, and I want to know you more. Paint my life God and show me the direction of Heaven in this world. Amen.
