For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39 (KJV)
Being a high school or middle school student in West Virginia never has a dull moment. Some days you wake up and your still tired, or you don’t feel good. Other days you get up and have lots of energy, or you anticipate a conversation with your best friend. Some days there’s that’s test in that one class you don’t like.
There are days where it rains, days that it seems the sun may never shine, and those days we pray it snows enough for a snow day. Only to end up getting a 2-hour delay.
We ride the bus some days, and our parents take us to school when they can. We catch rides with friends to get home if our parents let us. We are the ones sometimes that are the last person left after practice because someone had to work over. There is some consistency, but at the same time, there is not.
One thing remains constant day after day, month after month, and year after year. Nothing can separate you from the love of God. Remember that the next time you want something to go right for you or just wishing everything wasn’t so different. One thing is always going your way and never different. It’s God’s love for you.
Lord allow me to be aware of your love today.
